Short Course Description
This course is eligible for up to 4.5CME Family credits, including 1 Interpersonal Violence. Information presented in this course is based on material included in ADRA’s “Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course” approved by Florida Department of Children and Families for divorcing parents.
This course is designed to educate and assist parents experiencing divorce on matters related to their children and can be useful to family mediators when dealing with divorcing parents and help them better assist families going through this stressful time. Course is divided in 7 units with a short quiz at the end to qualify for the “interactive” format required for mediator’s re-certification credits

Guno Ritfeld
Guno Ritfeld is a retired Department of Defense Commissioned Officer. He has earned a B.A. in Psychology/Education, a Juris Doctorate (J.D.), and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree.
He is certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a Circuit Civil, Family, and County mediator and has served as a County mediator at the Orange County courthouse. He served as a member of the City of Orlando Certification Appeals Board and Chapter 57 Discrimination Board, and as a contract Human Rights Mediator and Administrative Investigator for various state and federal agencies. He is an experienced commercial, workplace, and family dispute mediator and arbitrator.
