Short Course Description
This course is a self-paced, interactive course and it is eligible for 4CME Ethics or 4CME General. Presenter discusses how mediators can use basic contract terms and theories during conferencing, without violating the disputing parties the right to self-determination, and mediator’s ethics rules (MEAC). Main discussions: MEAC Opinions, Florida Rules for Court Appointed Mediators and Certified Mediators, Open and Close questioning suggestion during Joint sessions and Caucus; Contract agreements as a second agreement to the first contract or agreement. Additionally, the presenter introduces the Doctrines of “Impossibly”,” Impracticability “and the doctrine of Contract “Frustration” for a discussion during the conference.
